Phaedra + David

I thought it is supposed to be warm all the time in Texas. My trip from 30 degree Bellingham to 38 degree Austin for David and Phaedra’s wedding turned out to be chillier than expected– why didn’t I bring a coat? Good thing these two fabulous people gave me nothing a great time on their grand event of a wedding day. From Phaedra’s adorable handmade felt bouquet, to her bright red shoes, to all sort of fun props– cool couches, clown noses (thank you Apples) and old books– these 2 were non-stop fun. We even hit some Texas golden hour light on our way to the reception so I could practice my flare. Thanks for the sweet Texas hospitality, great BBQ and good, kind folks.

Aaron - Just another great set with a cool couch involved. Great work!

Sara - These are absolutely GORGEOUS! You captured so much of their personalities.

After spending far too much time at work browsing your work, I have to say that I’m inspired to get out the cameras and start playing with photography again. Your work is excellent.

Maya - Just found your blog and as someone who’s starting out your photos are amazing inspiration. I love the one of their shoes and of the bride dancing. She just radiates beauty.

Mmmm… sun.

After and chilly trip to Austin for David and Phaedra’s incredible wedding (sneak peak coming folks, hang on) we are here in sunny Puerto Morelos, Mexico warming up before this weekend’s wedding shoot with Sara from Whitebox in Cancun. Daphne is having a blast– how cool is the kid’s playground in the town square?! Fish tacos, scrabble, sand castle building– we are in heaven!
