The oregon Coast

I grew up going to the Oregon Coast.  That’s why it was such a surprise to just now discover Hug Point, just minutes from Cannon Beach, my old stomping ground.  Daphne, Mark and I lucked out because the sun actually came out and the tide was low enough for us to explore the amazing caves.  […]

ali - Such a beautiful family, Michele!

Clara - what a sweet family get-away! this was our spot when I was a kid went there almost every summer! I love seeing it from your perspective makes me really want to go with my family

Chloe - I always think how lovely it is that you not only share work, but also snippets from your life. What a beautiful family you have.

Khallgren - Love the one of you and Daph! David particularly liked the one of Daph playing in the sand/Haystack rock in the background. Such amazing talent Mish! (and, I’m totally commenting on your blog!)

Dorothy - LOVE your pictures from Hug Point. Cannon Beach has been our families “home away from home” for over 30 years. Thanks for sharing!

Nicole - Aw, very sweet moments between father and daughter :) And of course wonderful photography as well!

Molly - I love hipstamatic- and think that you will also. It is cheap and fabulous. Have fun!

ali - There’s a great app that turns your iPhone images into Polaroid-like images. It’s called Shake It. Sean talks and shows it here: http://seanflanigan.net/blog/?p=4990

M Todd Thiele - Weather Channel, of course. Has live radar maps. Great for wedding days.

I found you on SMP blog where I was just included. Have a happy and healthy 2010!!

Jackie - I thought you were talking about appetizers…darn it.

Jena - It’s OK, be glad you waited… the iPhone has gotten so much better since the 1st Gen! You’ve probably already discovered that Daphne’s little hands can perfectly navigate thru the touch screen probably easier than yours can. I know a lot of my friends have found little cartoons on Youtube for kids for when you are stuck in a waiting room or whatever – you can bookmark your favorites. Also, some great apps for kids > Bubble wrap, ABC Oddity… I think there is a whole kids section on the apps site. I like iBartender for nights when you need a little cocktail inspriration at home or out on the town. Also, File Magnet lets you store both images (download the same images from your blog) and PDFs (pricelists) for those times when you want to produce a instant portfolio to a perspective client.

maz - Love my iphone too! My fave app is TiltSHift Generator- such fun:) and also Toy Camera . Enjoy!

jodi - Apps 101
Best camera app is kinda fun-you can mess with pic you take on you phone.
Grocery IQ app very good for grocery lists
Around me app amazing way to find anything where you are
Pilates app Useless unless used. LOL
Cowabunga-Super for game for anyone.
Hope that helps. Can you tell I love my iphone!

taylor - Hey Misha, I just came across these apps for the iphone. Thought you might appreciate them. http://ow.ly/dlvm

jen - look at her workin’ on her sitter muscles! shazam – cause there’s nothing more frustrating than wanting to know “who sings that song?” yelp – find a new place for grub wherever you are, with advice from the locals.

A few Fall things

Between work and little Miss Fiona Rue who is almost 6 months old, it is hard to get out and about.  Parents– can you relate?!  Mark and I have really tried hard not to be shut-ins during our favorite season and we made some fun trips to the pumpkin patch, the farmer’s market and a […]
